Description

The Intern: Learning and Development program is a 12-month learnership registered with the FoodBev SETA, designed to provide graduates with practical workplace experience in the field of training, skills development, and organizational learning. This opportunity allows interns to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning initiatives that enhance employee growth and performance. The program emphasizes professional development, exposure to HR and training practices, and the chance to contribute to building a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and administration of learning and development programs
  • Support the implementation of training initiatives across different departments
  • Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of training activities
  • Collaborate with HR and line managers to identify training needs
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance learning and development processes

Qualifications

  • South African citizen aged between 18 and 35
  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy passed at a minimum of 40%
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language at 40%
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Industrial Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Unemployed and not previously completed the same qualification or learnership at another company
  • Candidates who meet Employment Equity guidelines are preferred
