Responsibilities

• Design and build robust automation tools and software systems using Python
• Perform full-stack development across back-end, front-end, database, and UX
• Be involved in all stages of development: architectural design, implementation, and deployment
• Manage code via GitHub and deploy/manage applications on AWS
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites
• Integrate with external APIs and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver straightforward solutions

Qualifications

• Core Technical Expertise:
• Python Expertise: Strong professional experience in back-end development with Python (or similar languages like PHP, Perl, Ruby)
• Database Management: Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
• Cloud Computing: Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Version Control: Proficient in using git (GitHub) and CI/CD practices
• Additional Skills (Advantageous):
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman)
• Experience building internal tools using low-code/no-code platforms like Retool
• Professional Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive test suites
• Proficiency in reading external API documentation and writing conformant integration code
• Strong collaboration skills to translate stakeholder needs into well-designed solutions
