The Account Cloud Engineering (ACE) Intern role at Oracle offers graduates a 12-month opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud technology solutions and sales support. Based in Woodmead, Johannesburg, this internship focuses on shadowing ACE professionals to understand customer needs, propose tailored Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions, and support cloud engineering activities that drive business growth. Interns will contribute to initiatives aimed at acquiring new customers, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and enhancing Oracle’s brand visibility in the region. This program provides practical exposure to cloud engineering, customer engagement, and solution development, preparing graduates for future careers in cloud technology and technical consulting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales team in identifying and understanding customer needs
• Collaborate in proposing and building customized Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions
• Support Cloud Engineering activities to ensure proper execution and alignment with customer objectives
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing ones
• Help maintain a strong presence in the market through brand visibility activities

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: BCom or BSc in IT
• Desirable qualification: BCom or BSc Honours in IT
• Excellent communication skills with advanced presentation abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and driven with keen attention to detail
• Goal-oriented with a sharp focus on achieving objectives
• Exposure to technical operations or development is advantageous
