Responsibilities

• Assurance: Implement a monitoring coverage plan, scope, and interact with the business, analyse processes, and write reports; Monitor compliance records, processes, and systems; Follow up on non-compliant matters and assist in maintaining breach procedures
• Advisory: Assess the impact of regulatory developments and provide advice to businesses on compliance controls and implementation
• Training & Awareness: Identify training needs and assist in compliance-specific induction training
• Self-Management: Engage in professional development, work collaboratively, and align with company values

Qualifications

• Education:
• Essential: Currently studying towards a Business, Law, Commercial, or Compliance Degree/Diploma
• Preferred: A completed Legal, Audit, or Commercial (eg, Accounting) degree or national diploma
• Experience: 1-5 years of relevant compliance experience
• Key Skills:
• Ability to interpret statutory, regulatory, and supervisory requirements
• Good written/verbal communication and report writing
• Strong administrative, organisational, and computer literacy skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and build relationships
• Ability to translate legal knowledge for a non-legal audience
• Ability to work independently and in a team
