Supreme Processing has an opportunity available for an Electrician in the Maintenance Department. The purpose of the position is to ensure that all support activities are carried out efficiently and effectively to allow the other operations to function properly. The position will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on generators and other electrical equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably
• Diagnose electrical problems and faults in generators and other equipment, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Install new electrical systems or upgrade existing ones as per plant requirements, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies such as power outages or equipment failures to minimize disruption to plant operations
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems and equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for themselves and others
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections
• Report any significant issues or potential improvements to management

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate
• Qualified Electrician (Red Seal certificate)
• Experience in a FMGC further processing environment
• Minimum of 5 years Electrical experience
• (After qualification)
