Description

This role supports the firm’s ICT governance, information security, risk, and compliance initiatives by assisting with policy development, ISO 27001 ISMS administration, risk management, audits, and business continuity activities. The position works closely with the Associate Director – Technology Governance to strengthen IT controls, security assessments, and regulatory alignment across the firm. The ideal candidate holds relevant IT governance qualifications, has experience in policy documentation and risk management within large or regulated environments, and demonstrates strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Associate Director – Technology Governance with different tasks in the field of Information Security and IT Governance
• Assisting with reviewing, analysing, and developing Firm-wide policies and procedures
• Researching and documenting multiple information security related topics
• Supporting cloud solution risk assessments
• Assist with Client initiated Security Risk assessments Administration ISO 27001 based Information Security Management System (ISMS) mission
• Maintaining the Risk register and related records Supporting the Associate Director – Technology Governance with internal/external IT audits and IT controls improvement projects
• Assessing technical and functional aspects of the IT control environment

Qualifications

• NQF Level 7
• Security+
• COBIT, ITIL V3/ITIL V4
• NQF Level 6, IT Technical related Qualifications ITIL Practitioner/ITIL Expert
