To assist with administrative support within the quality assurance unit.
Responsibilities
Evaluate accreditation applications for occupational qualifications and skills programmes
Conduct desktop reviews and determine compliance readiness
Coordinate and conduct accreditation site visits
Prepare accreditation reports and recommendations for approval
Maintain updated records on accreditation status and validity periods
Implement scheduled and unscheduled monitoring visits
Assess compliance with approved curriculum, facilities, staffing, and assessment requirements
Compile monitoring reports and track corrective actions
Identify non-compliance trends and escalate persistent risks
Support the implementation of continuous improvement plans
Capture, verify, and maintain learner enrolment data for public providers
Ensure data integrity and alignment with QCTO reporting cycles
Support readiness for EISA through accurate enrolment and scheduling
Identify institutions with low or delayed enrolment reporting and initiate follow-up actions
Maintain and organize QCTO records, reports, and provider files
Support domain-specific projects related to lecturer development, accreditation expansion, and monitoring strategies
Provide guidance to Public TVET, CET Colleges, Government Departments including State Owned Entities on occupational qualification implementation
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual Quality Assurance Domain reports
Qualifications
A recognized National Diploma at NQF Level 6
Required Competencies:
Computer literacy and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Good Communication (both Verbal and Written)
Innovative thinking
Other requirements:
Unemployed South African citizens between 18 and 35 years
South Africans who are in possession of a minimum of a National Diploma at NQF level 6
No working experience required
