Responsibilities

• To learn and assist in all areas of HR i

• Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning and Development
• Capture and validate monthly payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, changes, overtime, leave)
• Printing & distributing payslips for Wages employees
• Liaison with HR Specialist/HR Administrator as applicable
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data (POPIA-compliant)
• Support recruitment (adverts, screening, scheduling, references)
• Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and exits
• Assist with ER admin (minutes, schedules, documentation, DRC preparations)
• Compile HR reports and support audits and compliance
• Learning & Development administration and training coordination
• Event planning & engagements (wellness days, red carpet)
• Any other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications

• Completed B-Degree or equivalent in HR / IO Psychology / Labour Relations
• Strong academic performance (we’re looking for top students)
• Superior English reading, writing, speaking and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication and attention to detail required
• MS Office full proficiency - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Advantageous: Exposure to Scubed / Sage / Neptune, own reliable transport, honours, leadership roles on campus, academic performance
