This is a 24-month (2-year) workplace experience programme. Unlike shorter 10-week internships, this is a structured "learnership," which usually combines on-the-job training with some level of theoretical study, often leading to a formal NQF qualification in a field like Business Administration or Security Practices.

Responsibilities

• Your specific daily tasks will be "determined with placement," but based on FSG's operational structure, you will likely be involved in: Administrative Support: Managing records, scheduling, and internal coordination
• Operational Liaison: Communicating between field personnel, control rooms, and management
• Reporting: Assisting in the documentation and reporting of security incidents or site audits
• Project Records: Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental standards

Qualifications

• Age: Unemployed youth between 18 and 35 years old
• Education: A Matric Certificate (Grade 12) is the minimum requirement
• Citizenship: Must be a South African Citizen
• Clearance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check (standard for the security industry)
• Location: Must live in or near Midrand, Roodepoort, Florida, or Helderkruin
• Soft Skills: * Strong command of English
• High motivation and willingness to follow instructions
• Ability to work under pressure and stay professional at all levels
