Provide Survey support. Provide general survey assistance to the Surveyor as instructed, both on surface and underground. Facilitate the transporting of equipment to and from underground working areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting scanning activities and gathering accurate survey data
• Assist with month‑end measuring of development ends/excavations and production stopes
• Complete installations accurately and within required timeframes
• Identify and report hazards encountered underground
• Identify and report non‑compliance with standards and procedures
• Ensure all relevant equipment is available when required
• Maintain equipment in good working condition, including cleaning after each underground trip
• Ensure all equipment is charged and ready for use

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with math’s and science
• Basic Surveying or Chamber of Mines Elementary Survey Certificate advantageous
• Competent B Certificate
• Valid EB/Code 08 driver’s license
