Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties – both for commercial and home garden planting. The following position has become available for a Sales Assistant, based in Sunningdale, Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unpacking and price marking of Company products at specific retailers where required
• Ensure that products on display are neatly and attractively arranged and not shop-soiled
• Ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained
• Identifies problems and weaknesses that may be the cause of an inadequate stock turn-over and/or poor sales
• Assist in the erection of promotional displays as and when required
• Assist the Regional Sales Representative (Retail) during in-store promotions

Qualifications

• Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (Essential)
• Horticulture Certificate
• Nursery Assistant experience for at least 1 Year
