Actuarial System Specialist

Description

This role exists to execute on the implementation of products, pricing models and underwriting rules into our policy administration systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Underwriting, Pricing and Development teams to create, configure and maintain the system logic and architecture supporting the pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Gain an in-depth understanding of how the administration system handles quotes, sales, endorsements and claims.
• Use this knowledge to recommend, implement and configure system changes for the actuarial models and product features.
• Identify system limitations or dependencies that may impact implementation and raise these proactively with relevant teams
• Standardise the structure of rating algorithms used in all products of the business.
• Work with the Pricing team to implement models within the system in a way that allows them to test and monitor their models.
• Work with development team to implement underwriting rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or similar
