Description

A 12-month work employment programme (not a learnership) for unemployed youth aged 18–34 who have completed a minimum of Grade 10. Successful candidates will gain hands-on work experience at one of I&J's sites within the fishing industry, which focuses on sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on work experience at an I&J site.
• Participate in the 12-month work employment programme.

Qualifications

• Age: Between 18 and 34 years.
• Education: Minimum Grade 10 (Standard 8) completed.
• Employment Status: Must be unemployed, not previously enrolled on a YES4YOUTH Programme, and not currently attending any government-funded training programme.
• Required Documents (all must be submitted):
• Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Stamped bank account details/statement (not older than 3 months)
• SARS Tax Document (copy of SARS certificate/letter)
• Certified copy of the highest grade/qualification (not older than 3 months)
• Certified ID Copy (not older than 3 months)
• Recruitment Process:
• Background screening (criminal check, ID verification, qualifications, etc.)
• Full medical examination at the I&J surgery
