Description

The Corporate Planning department at BMW Group South Africa plays a key role in shaping strategic direction, business performance monitoring, and long-term planning across the organisation. As a Corporate Planning Student, you will support the team in driving data-driven decision-making and contribute to strategic and operational planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of business performance reports and planning cycles.
  • Support strategic planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and business case evaluations.
  • Contribute to market and economic analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in the development of presentations and reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Production, and other departments.
  • Perform data analysis and ensure accuracy and integrity of planning information

Qualifications

  • Must have completed a Degree in Economics or related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of economic principles, financial analysis, and business strategy.
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
