The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Economics Bursary 2027 is aimed at students who want to pursue a first-year undergraduate degree in economics-related fields at a South African university. The information below is based on the SARB bursary announcement and related bursary notices

Responsibilities

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Be younger than 30 years old.
  • Be entering their first year of undergraduate study in 2027.
  • Have provisional acceptance into an economics-related degree
  • programme at a recognised South African university.
  • Have an average of 70% or higher in their current studies.
  • Have at least 70% in English and Mathematics.
  • Demonstrate financial need and be unable to afford university studies without bursary support.
