Human Resources: Talent Management Internship

Description

The Human Resources: Talent Management role is focused on ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains skilled employees. The successful candidate will manage the full talent lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee development and performance management. In this role, you will work closely with leadership to align talent management strategies with the overall goals of the organization, ensuring that workforce planning and succession planning are in place. Additionally, the role will involve monitoring employee engagement and implementing programs to foster a positive, productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong HR expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for developing people and organizational culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent across the organization
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the identification of candidates who align with organizational goals and culture
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, training, and development programs to enhance skills and career progression
  • Manage employee performance review processes and provide coaching and support to enhance productivity
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess workforce needs and design succession planning strategies
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement, recommending initiatives to improve morale and reduce turnover
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations in all talent management activities
  • Use data analytics to identify trends in employee performance and talent gaps, adapting strategies as needed to meet organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, or Management of Training
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management strategies
  • Familiarity with workforce planning and succession planning
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and regulations
  • Experience with HR systems and tools for tracking employee progress and managing talent pools
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to inform talent strategies and decisions
  • Proven ability to foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement
