The Technical Test Analyst will be responsible for creating, debugging, verifying, and maintaining technical test scripts to run automated testing. The role includes testing system functionality to address business requirements, preventing errors or defects in live systems, and implementing change control for improvements. The position is within FNB's Commercial Forex, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical test scripts for automated testing
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability
• Ensure system reliability and resilience through software development lifecycle
• Validate system performance with QA teams
• Analyze production data for incidents and recurring issues
• Implement automation to improve productivity and incident response
• Present findings to stakeholders and ensure solutions are implemented

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant certification in testing or programming
• Degree and/or certification such as ISEB/ISTQB Certification; ISTQB Advanced Analyst
• 5+ years of experience with a focus on automation testing
• 3+ years of work experience with API Testing
• Experience in the Banking Industry with a focus on Java technologies
• Proficiency in Selenium and related tools
