Description

As an Analyst Developer for the Millennium Production Support team at Sanlam Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of Sanlam Retail Affluent’s (SRA) business systems. You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving production queries, ensuring that any technical issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. The position also requires you to manage data integration with external systems, providing real-time data support, troubleshooting, and applying solutions to various business-critical software environments. The role demands collaboration with different stakeholders, including testers and users, to ensure seamless transitions between development, testing, and production.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and provide solutions for production queries to ensure the continuity of business operations Conduct root cause analysis and offer technical support for troubleshooting and debugging applications Perform regular standby support and assist in Disaster Recovery (DR) testing Implement changes into the production environment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system performance Collaborate with testers to provide necessary information for testing new functionalities Maintain error reports, monitor system health, and resolve production issues daily Update documentation and records for software changes and system improvements Run ad hoc and monthly data programs, ensuring the smooth operation of data exchanges with external systems

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) A relevant IT qualification, such as an IT Diploma or Degree, is highly recommended Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in application development Familiarity with Agile methodologies is beneficial Strong understanding of software development methodologies (SDLC), object-oriented design (OOD), and domain-driven design (DDD) Knowledge of financial services is advantageous Proficiency in technologies like Java,

• NET), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and databases (MySQL, JSON)
