We use the latest techniques in AI, machine learning, and data visualization to uncover insights about judges' rulings, build forecasts of likely outcomes, and reveal critical connections in massive datasets spanning the law, news, and finance. A Data Scientist III should understand best practices and processes and be able to execute them independently, reviewing requirements and results with supervisors. Individuals in this role should work with managers to define project scope, and then execute the necessary methods to develop, test and deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Competency in relevant skills and software packages
• Demonstrates competencies in relevant Data Science and/or Statistical frameworks
• Able to apply Machine Learning, Data Mining, and/or Statistical methods to build advanced models
• Able to roll into production with senior guidance
• Understands and creates typical data steps to prepare and process data for analysis
• Able to execute standard coding for projects and processes to do the job successfully using company standard toolsets
• Independent support of small-scale projects
• Support from others in supporting more complicated project steps
• Understands and executes complex methods within discipline, industry and domain

Qualifications

• At least an undergraduate degree in relevant field and 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Or a master's degree in a relevant field
