Sappi offers a one-year internship for recent graduate in Agriculture or Horticulture. This program provides hands-on, meaningful experience in farming operations with a focus on plant production under the guidance of skilled mentors, helping candidates transition smoothly into the professional world

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, oversight and operational management of a farm (Avocado or Macadamia or Aquaculture)
• Assist with the safety compliance of the farming operation
• Assist with the establishment of new orchards or expansion of existing operations

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric certificate
• - Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture with a focus on plant production
• - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• - No prior work experience is required
• - Good skills in planning and project management
