The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and optimizing machine learning algorithms, applying advanced statistics and programming skills to create impactful solutions. This role includes collaboration with Data Analysts and Engineers, model testing, deployment, and documentation. The position requires a strong technical foundation, business acumen, and the ability to align models with strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize machine learning models and statistical techniques
• Collaborate with Data Analysts for model testing and performance enhancement
• Work closely with Data Engineers for seamless implementation and deployment
• Manage backlog prioritization with Product Owners and align model development
• Document model developments and support stakeholder communication
• Apply business insights to ensure models meet strategic needs
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate best practices

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field (strong foundation in calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Expertise in machine learning techniques, statistical modeling, optimization, and search algorithms
• Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and data architecture
• Experience with CRISP-DM and Agile methodologies
• Proven track record in product lifecycle management
