Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Worker - Assistant to support drivers with loading and offloading trucks. This role requires maintaining a clean and safe environment, performing various tasks, and handling heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the truck driver with loading and/or offloading
• Keep outside walkways clear of debris
• Notify management of needed repairs
• Clean the premises and maintain a tidy environment
• Complete additional tasks as instructed by the Supervisor

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
• Medically fit
• Reliable and able to work safely
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Clean criminal record
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage/disposal methods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation
