Description

DHL Supply Chain South Africa is offering an opportunity for learners living with a disability. This role is designed for unemployed youth between the ages of 18 to 30 who are looking to gain experience in the logistics industry. The responsibilities include performing loading and offloading tasks, adhering to client requirements, using equipment safely, and reporting any issues to supervisors. The position will also require the individual to work within the operating areas set by management, following safety protocols and workplace practices.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand client requirements
  • Build knowledge and ensure correct use of equipment
  • Report and record any non-conformity with customer merchandise
  • Work in designated areas as determined by management
  • Adhere to operating procedures and safety practices

Qualifications

  • BBB-EE candidate
  • South African citizen
  • Unemployed youth (18 to 30 years)
  • Matric (English & Mathematics/Literacy) – Essential
  • People living with disability
