As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in setting up and maintaining cloud environments that enable seamless development and deployment. You’ll be responsible for automating the development-to-deployment pipeline, allowing for efficient code integration, quality assurance, and infrastructure management. Your work will facilitate a mature, integrated development experience and ensure smooth, rapid code deployment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain cloud environments
• Automate code pulls, integration, and container builds
• Manage quality assurance, infrastructure, and deployment controls
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and senior users to enhance the cloud environment
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance

Qualifications

• AWS Cloud Platform certification
• Experience as a Cloud Engineer in a large organization
• Familiarity with Net, PHP, Python, and Selenium (Jscript)
• Experience with OpenStack, Linux, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, APIs, orchestration, automation, DevOps, and databases
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification
• Additional cloud certifications (eg Microsoft Azure)
• 5+ years’ experience with cloud services and practices
• Familiarity with CloudFormation, Terraform, and configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet)
