Description

To assist the Internal Audit unit to roll out the three-year strategic Internal Audit Plans based on its assessments of key areas of risk for the institution.

Responsibilities

• Developing the audit programs
• Execute the audit programs
• Determining the audit scope
• Identification of significant risk exposures
• Developing the audit sample and auditable documentation
• Execute the auditable documentation
• Develop and record plan of each audit engagement
• Clearly define engagement being reviewed
• Perform walk-through tests on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
• Perform validation exercises on the risk register
• Prepare the audit report
• Present the audit report to the clients

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Degree or National Diploma in Auditing
• Computer literacy in software programmes
• No experience required
• BTech in Auditing
• Certified Internal Auditor
