Grants Administrator (Entry-Level)

Description

The Grants Administrator will assist in the administration of social grants at the local office level. This includes providing customer care services, screening and processing grant applications, and conducting quality control on submitted applications. Additionally, the incumbent will assist with medical, beneficiary maintenance, and payment processes while ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3).

Responsibilities

  • Administer social grants at the local office level
  • Deliver excellent customer care services
  • Effectively screen and process social grant applications
  • Conduct quality control on grant applications
  • Assist with medical, beneficiary maintenance, and payment processes
  • Ensure adherence to the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Administrative or clerical experience
