ArcelorMittal South Africa, part of the global ArcelorMittal group, is the largest steel producer on the African continent. With a focus on steel manufacturing, this learnership program offers individuals with Grade 12 qualifications an opportunity to train as a Process Operator. The structured outcome-based program includes both institutional and on-the-job training, regular assessments, and progress monitoring. The training agreement includes related costs, personal protective equipment, institutional training payments, on-site insurance, and a monthly stipend. Completion of the learnership does not guarantee permanent employment.

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and legislation

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics or Maths Literacy and English
• Physical Science is advantageous
• Must be a team player and capable of working independently
• Highly self-motivated and driven
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• An aptitude for engineering and agile thinking
