The KwaZulu-Natal Office of the Premier is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for a 24-month Internship Programme starting in 2025. The program aims to provide practical skills and experience, fostering competence and career development, and requires computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure within provincial government offices
• Supporting the implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards
• Assisting with the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems
• Monitoring and ensuring the security of IT systems and data
• Supporting the development and deployment of government IT projects
• Assisting with data management, including backup, recovery, and storage
• Providing technical support to users across various departments
• Participating in research and development of new technologies to improve efficiency
• Preparing IT-related reports and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with government IT regulations and standards

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree:
• Information Technology
• Bsc Computer Sciences
• Bcom Information Technology Management(Specialising in Business Analysis)
