MPRTC is looking for candidates in need of proper employment who are willing to join the established and respected company as a qualified Receiving Clerk MPRTC Recruitment is currently seeking a diligent and organized individual to fill the position of Receiving Clerk in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will excel in managing the receiving process, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately documented and verified. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision in the handling of all received goods. This includes inspecting shipments for accuracy, recording relevant data, and addressing any discrepancies with suppliers promptly. By efficiently overseeing the receiving process, the Receiving Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations and maintaining the integrity of the inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices
• Unloading deliveries and accurately recording received items
• Organizing and storing received goods in designated areas
• Managing and updating inventory records to ensure accuracy
• Communicating with suppliers to resolve discrepancies or issues with shipments
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely distribution of received goods
• Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area

Qualifications

• Matric(Grade 12)
