To assist the electrical department to carry out electrical engineering work in accordance with what meets all requirements where mentorship will be provided to ensure safe work practices

Responsibilities

• Fill in a logbook
• Identify, label and understand the use of various electrical components
• This includes understanding the mechanics behind the component, know what it does, and how it is used for the different applications
• Perform testing and troubleshooting on various electrical components
• Medium voltage switch gear in the substation - how the mechanics work, transformers, tripping and safety relays
• Working with Artisans to understand components of the Electrical department

Qualifications

• A degree/ diploma / Btech in Electrical Engineering or relevant qualification
