The City of Tshwane is offering a Fitting & Turning Apprenticeship as part of its full-time apprenticeship programme. This programme is designed to equip aspiring artisans with practical skills and theoretical knowledge required for a career in the fitting and turning trade. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in maintaining and operating machinery, fabricating mechanical parts, and assembling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in both practical and theoretical components of the apprenticeship training programme
• Attend classroom sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training sessions
• Assist in maintaining and operating various machines and tools used in fitting and turning
• Learn how to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and components

Qualifications

• Technical Matric, NCV Level 4, or N2 Certificate
