Description

The purpose of this is to offer work integrated learning (P1 & P2) to learners in mining related study fields as per the tertiary institution’s syllabus requirements.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on basic workplace skills and understanding of engineering operations
• Typically done in an engineering company, factory, or workshop
• Students learn technical fundamentals, safety procedures, and basic tools/processes
• Focuses on applying engineering principles in real-world projects
• More advanced and directly related to the student’s engineering discipline

Qualifications

• Serious contenders will be in their final year of study or completed their studies at a recognized institution requiring practical learning (ie P1 & P2) Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, Survey etc
• Students must be studying at a recognized South African institution Must be a South African citizen
