Blue Pearl PTY LTD is looking for a Specialist QA Engineer to design automation testing plans and develop automation test scripts for multiple technical products and services. The role involves front-end, back-end, integration, performance, scalability, and regression testing, ensuring products are protected through quantifiable test coverage and metrics. The project is a pan-African remittance engine that supports cross-border remittances and handles over 200 industry message types, making manual testing impractical.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation testing plans
• Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Conduct integration, performance, and regression testing
• Ensure solutions are thoroughly tested across multiple message types
• Work in an Agile environment, utilizing CI/CD tools for automation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on automation testing experience
• Strong knowledge of MQ Testing (MQ knowledge is essential)
• Proficiency in Java (Java 8 or later)
• Experience with Maven, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Agile tools)
• Expertise in Functional, Automation, Front-End, and API Testing
• Experience with Cucumber, TestNG, Data-Driven & Hybrid frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Selenium framework and Rest Assured
