Description

Novonesis is seeking a Business Analyst to join its commercial team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will support sales processes by reporting, analyzing, and documenting internal and external data and dynamics. This role involves close collaboration with colleagues in Novonesis offices across the Middle East and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales tracking tools, report on key information, and track sales trends
• Develop and maintain sales performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts
• Monitor distributor contracts, monthly sales estimates, and ongoing opportunities
• Support the sales team with data, presentations, and proposals
• Analyze market trends, including competitor analysis, to identify threats and opportunities
• Support the Regional Director/General Manager with office management tasks
• Create and execute processes for vendor management and office-related operations
• Assist in sustainability and advocacy initiatives by analyzing policy and market dynamics
• Must be willing to travel within South Africa and internationally as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent qualification in finance, business, or marketing (MBA is an advantage)
• 2-3 years of experience managing data and analysis in a consulting or marketing role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong business and sales acumen
• Highly organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Fluency in English (written/spoken)
