The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for assisting internal users in resolving computer hardware and software issues. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and offering technical solutions aligned with service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues
  • Provide end-user technical support
  • Follow compliance and quality procedures
  • Manage data entry and ensure accuracy
  • Plan daily work schedules based on priorities
  • Participate in training and upskilling activities

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
  • Certifications: MCSA, A+, N+, ITIL Foundation (Essential)
  • 2–3 years of experience in desktop support administration (Essential)
