The purpose of this role is to deliver safe, comprehensive, and quality nursing care aligned with the Scope of Practice within a Surgical ICU environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team
• Identify, manage, and prevent risks to ensure patient safety
• Facilitate a positive patient experience and create a healing environment
• Maintain accurate records of nursing interventions
• Contribute to staff competence development through learning environments
• Accurately charge for all utilized stock and equipment

Qualifications

• Essential Education:
• Degree or Diploma in General Nursing
• Desired Education:
• Midwifery
• Postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty area
• Essential: No minimum experience required
• Desired: 1 year post-graduate qualification experience before working in a specialised unit
