Absa Bank is looking for an Analyst Credit Risk to support the credit risk process by carrying out comprehensive and quality credit risk functions within the credit lifecycle. This role is focused on Growth Business clients and aligns with internal policies and external regulations. The successful candidate will contribute to creating shared growth by ensuring responsible risk decisions and effective risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality credit risk assessments and reviews
• Proactively manage credit risks associated with clients
• Develop data-driven strategies
• Facilitate the credit sanctioning process to ensure responsible risk decisions
• Produce and analyse relevant management information and insights
• Ensure adherence to the bank's credit philosophy and all relevant legislation
• Investigate and resolve escalated customer complaints

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required)
