Description

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Automation Tester with a solid foundation in software testing principles, certified with ISTQB Foundation Level, and experienced in using ALM tools to manage test lifecycle activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing frameworks and tools, test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications
• Execute automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage

• , Micro Focus ALM, Jira with test management plugins) to plan, manage, and track test cases, defects, and releases
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports aligned with ISTQB best practices
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Support regression testing cycles and perform root cause analysis for failures
• Provide regular status updates and metrics to stakeholders

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation Level (ISTQB FL) certification is mandatory
• Proven experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Micro Focus ALM, Jira (with test management add-ons like Zephyr, Xray), or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, lifecycle, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes is a plus
• Experience in defect tracking and test management
