The Cashier / Cloakroom Attendant is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service while handling payments and managing the safe storage of guests’ personal belongings. Duties include receiving and returning items in the cloakroom, issuing tickets or tags, handling cash or electronic payments, and maintaining accurate records of items stored. The role also involves ensuring the cloakroom area is clean, organized, and secure at all times. Strong attention to detail, honesty, and good interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a polite and professional manner
• Receive and safely store customers' personal items in the cloakroom
• Issue and manage cloakroom tickets or tags for item tracking
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure cloakroom area

Qualifications

• Grade 12
