eThekwini Municipality is offering exciting opportunities for graduate individuals with no work experience to gain valuable skills and practical exposure in various fields through its Graduate and Work Integrated Learning Internship Programme for a period between 18 (TVET with N6) to 24 months in the study fields of Agriculture, Natural Sciences, Environmental Studies

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork, data collection, and analysis related to environmental and agricultural projects under supervision of professionals
• Support environmental awareness and sustainability initiatives in communities through outreach and education activities
• Contribute to research and monitoring of biodiversity, climate change impacts, and ecological conditions in various municipal zones

Qualifications

• Environmental Science, Horticulture, Nature Conservation, Agriculture, Environmental Management/ Environmental Health, Waste Management, Agriculture Extension, Agribusiness, Natural Sciences, Ecological Sciences, Geographical Information Systems, Population Studies, Archaeology, Geography/Arc GIS Competency, Climate Change, BSc Computer Science,Food Security
• Applicants must be in possession of a recognized qualification or N6 for TVET students applying for WIL for Nated Diploma recognition
