Old Mutual is looking for a Finance BI Developer to design, build, and maintain business intelligence solutions supporting financial and insurance processes. This role includes developing dashboards, data models, and reports; optimizing data flows; and collaborating with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making. It requires a strong mix of technical BI skills, financial domain knowledge, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging dashboards using Power BI or equivalent tools
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines with data engineering teams
• Maintain and validate data models (star/snowflake schemas)
• Create standard and ad hoc reports for finance and regulatory use
• Train users, gather requirements, and support finance stakeholders
• Monitor performance and improve dashboard/data refresh cycles
• Align with governance standards and collaborate on BI best practices
• Participate in agile practices and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance
• Proficiency in Power BI and SQL
• Experience with DAX, DBMS, data modeling, ETL, and BI tools
