RCL Foods is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join their Speciality Baking Division in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa. The role will involve supporting the business in driving operational strategy, implementing strategic projects, and analyzing operations to reduce inefficiencies and ensure quality standards. The ideal candidate will design systems that maximize productivity, reduce waste, and encourage cost effectiveness through cost savings initiatives. The minimum requirements include a B-Tech or Degree in Industrial Engineering, 2 years industry experience, experience with Lean and Continuous improvement methodologies, strong problem-solving skills, strong communication, attention to detail, MS Office proficiency, and coaching skills. Responsibilities include reviewing production processes, capacity planning, designing control systems, developing and implementing process improvements, managing new product development plans, and coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing production processes and related information for process improvement
• Doing in depth capacity planning for performance analysis
• Providing data to sustain production targets and processes
• Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues
• Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades

Qualifications

• B-Tech or Degree in Industrial Engineering
• 2 years Industry experience within Food or FMCG environments
• Experience working with Lean, Continuous improvement methodologies will be an added advantage
• Critical and curious thinking
• Strong problem-solving skills
