Description

The Process Foreman assists the Process Manager in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the plant, achieving production and quality targets while maintaining high operational standards. This role includes leadership of production shifts, supervision of maintenance planning and execution, and control of process consumables within company standards. The incumbent is responsible for upholding safety policies, participating in incident investigations, driving team compliance with company strategy, and identifying training and development needs within the team. Additional duties include managing workforce planning, delegating tasks effectively, maintaining accurate records of safety, production, maintenance, personnel, and quality control, and optimizing plant performance to align with organizational objectives.

• Lead the team to comply with the company’s SHE strategy and zero-harm framework
• Ensure the team understands safety policies, standards, and procedures
• Identify areas for improvement and determine SHE training requirements
• Participate in incident and accident investigation teams
• Achieve production and quality targets
• Manage performance of production shifts
• Support maintenance planning and execution; supervise and sign off maintenance tasks
• Ensure the plant operates within budget
• Maintain high standards of operational excellence
• Identify process optimization needs
• Control process consumable usage within company standards
• Drive team compliance with company strategy and effectively delegate tasks
• Manage workforce planning, time, and attendance systems
• Identify and develop talent within the team
• Complete safety, production, maintenance, personnel, and quality control records and reports

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
