An EPWP OC (Organisational Component) Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated public buildings, facilities, or community spaces. This role ensures a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for staff and the public. The cleaner reports to a supervisor or facilities manager

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings
• Clean windows, walls, and doors
• Empty and dispose of waste from bins
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, toilets, and washbasins
• Refill soap, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer dispensers
• Maintain hygienic conditions in kitchens and communal areas
• Report maintenance or repair needs (e

• , broken fixtures, leaks) to supervisors
• Assist with minor repairs or cleaning-related maintenance tasks if trained
