Description

Junior Designers work within well-established teams to solve design problems. Junior Designers contribute to product and service teams by solving specific functional-level design problems. Junior Designers follow the established standards in their discipline. Junior Designers have a passion for one or more of the core design disciplines (user experience design, user interface design, service design, customer research, prototype engineering and content strategy) and continually grow by contributing to one project at a time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research (benchmarking, heuristic reviews, surveys, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, etc
• )
• Execute design work under the guidance of senior designers and project leads
• Create innovative, high-quality design solutions that improve customer experience
• Present design work to stakeholders with the support of project leads

Qualifications

• NQF 7 Qualification (Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Physical, Mathematical, Computer, or Life Sciences)
• Minimum 1 year of technical design experience or customer experience in financial services
