This learnership offers an opportunity to begin a career in software testing within the Fintech industry. Participants will gain practical experience executing manual test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, documenting test plans, and working with test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for software components and user interfaces
• Follow detailed step-by-step instructions for system testing
• Log results accurately using tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Excel
• Detect and report software bugs with evidence including screenshots and logs
• Collaborate with QA Analysts and Developers for bug verification and re-testing
• Assist in updating test case libraries and documenting outcomes
• Contribute to internal QA knowledge bases and guides
• Gain exposure to testing in different environments (Staging, QA, UAT)

Qualifications

• Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science passed
• Preference for candidates with Computer Literacy or Computer Applications Technology
• No prior work experience required
• Strong attention to detail
• Adaptability to new tools and technologies
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
• Basic problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
• Foundational IT literacy including Microsoft Office
• Optional: Basic programming or scripting knowledge (HTML, Python, Java)
