Truworths is seeking passionate IT and Software Development graduates to join its internship programme at the Cape Town Head Office. This internship offers exposure to programming, software development, and systems support in a dynamic retail environment. The successful candidate will gain practical coding experience across multiple business areas while being mentored by experienced IT professionals.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply software programming skills in C#, Java, and PL/SQL
• Contribute to development projects across teams (POS, BI, Logistics, Finance, HR, Credit, Risk, and Marketing)
• Support information systems and assist in troubleshooting
• Collaborate with IT professionals to deliver innovative solutions
• Gain exposure to retail systems in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Software Development, Computer Science, or related field
• B Sc Computer Science, B Eng, B Tech, B Com Information Systems, Advanced Diploma in IT/Software Development
• Software development must have been a major subject
• Recent graduates entering the job market for the first time are encouraged to apply
