As a Junior Developer, you will help build, maintain, and enhance applications that improve operational efficiency. You’ll design, develop, test, and support applications, while gaining exposure to financial services software systems. This is an excellent opportunity to grow from junior to intermediate developer with mentorship and training.

Responsibilities

• Software Development & Maintenance: Develop, create, modify, and maintain general applications or specialized utilities
• Customer Support: Provide support on complex issues, handling escalated customer cases
• Testing: Conduct routine tests, diagnose, and resolve application/software performance issues
• Innovation: Suggest and implement system/process improvements
• Information Security: Assist with implementing firewalls, encryption, and other security measures
• Learning & Growth: Participate in training, mentorship, and industry learning to build new technical capabilities
• Operational Compliance: Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in software delivery

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 (Required)
• Relevant programming knowledge (Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field is advantageous)
