The ACCA Graduate Programme – 2026 at SNG Grant Thornton is a structured three-year training contract aimed at developing future Chartered Certified Accountants. Based in the Gauteng office, the programme offers candidates exposure to a broad range of commercial sectors and challenging assignments. With support from mentors and leadership, trainees gain practical experience while achieving ACCA competencies. The environment encourages hands-on learning, technical growth, and professional development, all while delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements across various industries
• Apply ACCA technical knowledge to assess financial statements and internal controls
• Support the preparation of audit documentation and working papers
• Engage directly with clients to gather information and communicate findings
• Analyze financial data to identify risks, trends, and irregularities
• Collaborate with audit teams to deliver high-quality client service
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and sound professional judgment in all tasks
• Participate in mentorship sessions and ongoing professional development
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold firm values
• Work toward fulfilling ACCA competencies required for certification

Qualifications

• ACCA Accredited degree from a residential university with auditing as one of the major subject
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must have successfully completed all ACCA exams or will complete by December 2025
• Must have selected Advanced auditing as one of the modules for ACCA exams
• Matric certificate
• ID copy
• Undergraduate transcript
• Proof of honours registration
