The ACCA Graduate Programme – 2026 at SNG Grant Thornton is a three-year training contract based in Gauteng, designed to equip aspiring Chartered Certified Accountants with the practical experience and technical competencies required for ACCA registration. Trainees are immersed in a dynamic audit environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial sectors and working on challenging assignments. With guidance from experienced mentors and leadership, candidates develop the skills needed to deliver exceptional client service while building a strong foundation in professional accounting and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements across various industries
• Apply ACCA technical knowledge to assess financial statements and internal controls
• Support the preparation of audit documentation and working papers
• Engage directly with clients to gather information and communicate findings
• Analyze financial data to identify risks, trends, and irregularities
• Collaborate with audit teams to deliver high-quality client service
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and sound professional judgment in all tasks
• Participate in mentorship sessions and ongoing professional development
• Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold firm values
• Work toward fulfilling ACCA competencies required for certification

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed all ACCA exams or will complete by December 2025
• Must have selected Advanced Auditing as one of the modules for ACCA exams
• ACCA accredited degree from a residential university with auditing as one of the major subjects
• Must be a South African citizen
